The City of Fairmount has another special election planned. This election, on June 17th, will restore a full roster of officials to Fairmount’s government. Qualifying is Monday April 21st until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23rd at 1:00 pm. It is twenty seven dollars to qualify; you may do so in person at Fairmount City Hall.
In arrests announced by the Gordon County Sheriffs Office:
Kenneth Eugene Long, 49, of Resaca was arrested by Sheriffs Deputies and charged with Theft By Deception.
Brezhnex H. Alvarez, 39, of Calhoun was arrested by Sheriffs Deputies and charged with multiple counts of Theft by Shoplifting
