    Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Ice accumulations of 0.25 to 0.75 inches, with snow or sleet amounts of an inch or less.

    Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Georgia.

    IMPACTS
    Expect power outages and tree damage due to the ice. Travel could be impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation. Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing. Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help you survive in case you become stranded.

Tonight’s two important community meetings-
Public Hearing for Gordon County Board of Education budget is at 6 pm at the central office next door to Sonoraville High School. Calhoun’s budget hearing is tonight at 7 pm at the Depot. The railroad crossings in Resaca at Hwy 136 and on Craigtown road are closed for planned maintenance until at least Wednesday. Early voting for the Public Service Commission Primary continue through Friday at the Gordon County Courthouse.
