An Adairsville resident has been formally indicted in connection with a February 2025 collision on Highway 53 that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
A Gordon County Grand Jury returned the indictment against Hakan Ikinci, charging him with Homicide by Vehicle in the Second Degree and Failure to Yield the Right of Way.
The charges stem from a crash that occurred in late February, during which Ikinci is alleged to have failed to yield, leading to a fatal collision involving a motorcycle. Further details about the victim or the circumstances of the wreck have not yet been released by authorities.
The case will proceed in Gordon County Superior Court.
