Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Gordon County
The Gordon County Coroner confirmed 19-year-old Easton Martin of Adairsville died in a motorcycle wreck Sunday on Lovers Lane Road. Georgia State Patrol said Martin struck a Ford Ranger while attempting to avoid traffic. A passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
Adairsville PD Mourns Sgt. Jimmy Shaw
Adairsville Police announced the passing of Sgt. Jimmy Shaw on Sept. 28 after a battle with cancer. Shaw served more than 30 years in law enforcement and was remembered for his dedication, honor, and faith.
