The Volunteer Action Center (VAC) is reporting an increase in local families seeking assistance from its food pantry this November. To help meet the rising demand, the pantry is asking the community to donate items such as elbow noodles, spaghetti sauce, and canned meats.

Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours at 343 South Wall Street in Calhoun. Community support is crucial to ensuring that families in need have access to nutritious food this month.
