The Ranger community has a fresh new space to gather with the official opening of the newly constructed Ranger Community Center and its accompanying playground.
The original center, housed for decades in a nearly century-old former school building, has now been replaced with a modern facility designed to better serve residents while still honoring Ranger’s history. The Gordon County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Friday, Nov. 21, marking the building’s formal debut.
The new structure measures approximately 45 by 35 feet and features restrooms, a kitchenette, and a central 900-square-foot gathering area for meetings, events, and community programs.
Across the street, a brand-new playground offers children a safe, updated space for recreation — adding another welcomed amenity for families in the area.
