Kyle Pettit Allen
July 14, 1961 — December 26, 2025

Mrs. Kyle Pettit Allen, 64, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025, after a prolonged illness.

She was born in Marietta, Georgia, on July 14, 1961, the daughter of the late Charles Wayne Pettit and Peggy Myrtle Herington Pettit. She had lived most of her life in Gordon County and attended Red Bud School. She was a para-professional, having been employed by Calhoun City Schools for 32 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Wayne Pettit Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, James Randall Allen; daughter, Brittany Allen Littlejohn and her husband, B.J.; son, Christopher Randall Allen and his wife, Kera; granddaughter, Abigail Meadow Allen; and niece, Jennifer West and her husband, Jason, Carley McFarland; nephew, Anthony (Lisa) Allen.

A service to celebrate the life of Kyle P. Allen will be held on Wednesday, December 31st at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Jason West, David Robinson, David Echols, Steven Waters Jr., Virgil Waters Jr., and Larry Echols.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 31st, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home.

The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Kyle P. Allen of Calhoun.
