Melba Ann Fuller Sewell

Melba Ann Fuller Sewell, age 80 of Plainville, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Advent Health Redmond.

Melba was born on October 29, 1945 in Gordon County, GA, daughter of the late John Robert Fuller, SR and Mary Lucille Fuller. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by: her husband, Eugene Talmadge Sewell; two brothers, J.R., JR and his wife Pearlie Mae and Ernest Mebane Fuller; and three sisters, Illa Hyde, Virginia Fuller Sewell, and Infant baby. Melba was a member of West Union Church.

Melba is survived by: two sons, Sidney Sewell and Wayne Sewell; special daughter-in-law, Tara Roberts Sewell; three grandchildren, Ethan Sewell, Ellie Sewell, and Easton Sewell; brother, Bob Fuller; and sisters-in-law, Clara Hicks and her husband Willie, Glenda Freeman and her husband Herman, Marie Cochran and her husband Rickey, Dyan Nelson and her husband Steve, Martha Sewell and her husband Pat, and Evelyn Sewell and her husband Aleck.

A celebration of the life of Melba will be held at a later date.
