Ed Moyer and Bruce Potts were officially sworn into office during the Calhoun City Council meeting held Monday night, January 12, 2026.
Moyer, pictured with Mayor Jimmy Palmer, begins his second term on the council after running unopposed in the November municipal election. He also continues to serve as Mayor Pro Tem.
Potts, also pictured with Mayor Palmer, was elected to his first term on the council after defeating incumbent Ray Denmon in November. He previously served on the Gordon County Board of Commissioners.
