Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) recently recognized the 2026 recipients of the Latin American Association-Mohawk Scholarship during a ceremony held at the Conference Center on the Gordon County Campus in Calhoun.
The scholarship program, funded by the Latin American Association (LAA) and sponsored by Mohawk Industries Inc., provides financial assistance to students actively involved in the Hispanic community who live in Floyd, Gordon, Murray, or Whitfield counties.
The following students were selected as 2026 scholarship recipients:

Ronaldo Ramirez, Rome – Aviation Maintenance Technology
Each recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship to help cover tuition, fees, and other educational expenses.
