Perry Winford Dixon
December 8, 1944 — February 10, 2026

Perry Winford Dixon, age 81, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Born on December 8, 1944, in Calhoun, Georgia, he was the son of the late Odes and Beulah Walraven Dixon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Morris Dixon.

Perry is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Melba Dixon; his son, Keith (Jennifer) Dixon; his daughter, Angie (Jeff) Law; his brothers, Marvin Dixon and Ricky Dixon; his cherished grandchildren, Hannah (Michael) Crosa, Melia Carter, Olivia Carter, and Sam Dixon; and his great-grandson, Carter James Crosa.

Perry was a lifelong outdoorsman who found joy in hunting, fishing, and tending his garden. He also enjoyed playing golf and, for a time, worked at Fields Ferry Golf Club, where he combined his love for the game with fellowship and community.

A faithful and dedicated member of Northside Church of Christ, Perry lived his life grounded in faith, family, and service to others.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Minister Kent Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Chandler Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Sam Dixon, Ricky Dixon, Kevin Dixon, Rodney Kelley, Chad Kelley, and Michael Crosa. Honorary pallbearers are Marvin Dixon, Jonathan Pressley, and Shane Bagley.

The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Perry Winford Dixon.
