Mohawk Industries Inc. reported fourth-quarter earnings of $42 million, the Calhoun-based flooring manufacturer announced Thursday.
The company posted a profit of 68 cents per share for the quarter. After adjusting for non-recurring costs, earnings totaled $2.00 per share, slightly surpassing Wall Street expectations. Analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research had forecast earnings of $1.98 per share.
Quarterly revenue, however, came in just below projections. Mohawk reported $2.7 billion in fourth-quarter revenue, compared to analysts’ expectations of $2.72 billion.
For the full year, Mohawk Industries reported total profit of $369.9 million, or $5.93 per share, on revenue of $10.79 billion.
Mohawk Industries is one of the world’s largest flooring manufacturers, with operations across North America, Europe and other international markets.
