White House Releases Schedule for President Trump’s Visit to Rome

ROME, Ga. — The White House has released President Donald Trump’s schedule for his upcoming visit to Rome, Georgia, on Thursday, February 19.

According to the schedule, President Trump will begin his day at a “Board of Peace” event in Washington, D.C., at 9:00 a.m. He will then board Air Force One and travel to Richard B. Russell Regional Airport in Floyd County.

Once in Rome, the president is scheduled to visit a local business at 1:50 p.m., followed by a podcast interview at 2:30 p.m.

At 3:30 p.m., Trump will tour Coosa Steel Corporation, where he is expected to deliver remarks focused on the economy at 4:00 p.m. from the factory floor.

The visit comes as early voting is underway in the special election to fill the now-vacant U.S. House seat in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District. Former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene vacated the position in January.

The special election is scheduled for March 10.
