Henry Franklin Jarvis Jr., 82, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026. He was born in Marianna, Florida, on February 12, 1944, to the late Henry Franklin Jarvis Sr. and Theresa Jarvis

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Cook Jarvis; children, April (Steve) Phillips, Michael Jarvis, Matthew (Heather) Jarvis, Melissa (Ashley) Jarvis; brother, Robert (Donna) Jarvis Sr; sister, Joy Yarbrough; grandchildren, Angela (Randy) Perry, Stephen (Lauren) Phillips, David Phillips, Landon Jarvis, Kalista Jarvis, Madison Jarvis, Levi Jarvis, Brad (Reona) Ford, Kayla Bannister; great-grandchildren, Kane Bennett, Dallas Bennett, Sawyer Bennett, Randall Lee Perry II, Atlas Ford, Madeline Phillips, Lucas Phillips.

Henry was an amazing dad that loved his family and having everyone get together to cook out and spend time with each other. He always wanted to make sure that someone had taken pictures. He liked to find bargains at Kroger and at yard sales. Henry proudly served his country in The United States Navy, spending time on submarines. He loved the ocean, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and eating seafood.

To honor his wishes, a celebration of life for family and close friends will be held in Carrabelle, Florida at a later date.
