AdventHealth Gordon and AdventHealth Murray have announced the addition of Derichia Lynch to their team as manager of community outreach, a role focused on strengthening connections across Northwest Georgia.

In her new position, Lynch will collaborate with schools, chambers of commerce, and community organizations throughout Gordon, Murray, and Whitfield counties. Her work will center on improving access to care, promoting wellness initiatives, and building partnerships that support the region’s overall health.

“Derichia brings a heart for service and a deep understanding of our communities,” said Scotty Hancock. “Her passion for building relationships and meeting people where they are will be a tremendous asset as we continue our work to improve access to care and strengthen community partnerships.”

Lynch joins AdventHealth with a background in education and communications. She most recently served as communications coordinator for Murray County Schools and as events director for the MCS Foundation, where she led marketing and public relations efforts, supported recruitment initiatives, and managed foundation operations. She also brings prior experience from the flooring industry.

“I am so thankful for this opportunity and the path that led me here,” Lynch said. “I’m looking forward to serving our communities, building strong relationships, and making a positive impact through this role.”

Lynch holds a master’s degree in business management from Western Governors University. She and her husband, Richard, have two children. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering in children’s programming at her church, camping with her family, and spending time shopping with her daughter.

AdventHealth officials say Lynch’s appointment reflects the organization’s continued commitment to community-focused care and outreach across Northwest Georgia.
