Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) will host Open House events at all six of its campuses in early June, giving prospective students and their families an opportunity to explore academic programs, tour facilities, and meet faculty and staff members.
The Open Houses will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at each campus location. Officials say the events are designed to help future students learn more about the college’s educational opportunities and enrollment process.
The schedule for the events includes:
- Polk County Campus in Rockmart — Tuesday, June 2
- Walker County Campus in Rock Spring — Tuesday, June 2
- Gordon County Campus in Calhoun — Wednesday, June 3
- Whitfield Murray Campus in Dalton — Wednesday, June 3
- Catoosa County Campus in Ringgold — Thursday, June 4
- Floyd County Campus in Rome — Thursday, June 4
Legare Price, associate vice president of Student Success at GNTC, said the Open Houses offer a valuable opportunity for potential students to experience campus life firsthand.
“Open House is a great chance for potential students and families to explore one of our six campuses and see what GNTC has to offer,” Price said. “Each two-hour event will include registration, a panel discussion, campus tours with program highlights, a presentation highlighting GNTC’s unique benefits and a step-by-step overview of the enrollment process—from application through advising.”
In addition to campus tours and informational sessions, attendees will receive giveaways and a special code to waive GNTC’s $25 application fee.
GNTC offers a variety of technical education and workforce training programs serving northwest Georgia and surrounding communities. Officials encourage anyone interested in attending college, changing careers, or learning new skills to attend one of the upcoming events.
