Early voting is now underway for the General Primary Runoff Election, and Gordon County voters will have additional time to cast their ballots this week.
The Gordon County Board of Elections and Registration has announced extended early voting hours for the week of June 8 through June 12. Voters may cast their ballots Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Gordon County Board of Elections Office, located inside the Gordon County Courthouse.
Election officials encourage eligible voters to take advantage of the expanded hours if they are unable to vote on Election Day. Early voting provides residents with a convenient opportunity to participate in the runoff election while avoiding potential lines and scheduling conflicts.
Voters are reminded to bring a valid photo identification when voting in person, as required by Georgia law.
For additional information regarding voter eligibility, polling locations, or election procedures, residents can contact the Gordon County Board of Elections and Registration.
The General Primary Runoff Election will determine the winners in races where no candidate received the required majority of votes during the primary election. Election officials encourage all eligible voters to make their voices heard by participating in the runoff.
