The Atlanta Braves will try to even their weekend series with the Milwaukee Brewers when the teams meet Saturday afternoon.
The Braves came up just short in Friday’s opener, falling 2-1. Milwaukee scored twice against Chris Sale, while the Braves were shut out through the first seven innings. Michael Harris II drove home Atlanta’s only run in the eighth before the Brewers closed out the victory.
Atlanta is now 75-54 on the season, while the Brewers improved to 80-49.
Game 2 gets underway at 2:10 p.m. Saturday in Milwaukee.
