AdventHealth Welcomes Destiny Sandate Garcia, FNP-BC to Curtis Parkway Practice

AdventHealth has welcomed Destiny Sandate Garcia, FNP-BC, to AdventHealth Medical Group Family and Internal Medicine at Curtis Parkway, expanding access to primary care for adults and older adults in Gordon County, Murray County and surrounding communities.

Garcia joins the care team as a family nurse practitioner with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care. AdventHealth says she is committed to creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected and empowered to take an active role in their health.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Garcia is passionate about building relationships with her patients and providing personalized care that supports their physical, emotional and overall well-being.

Garcia earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis after completing her nursing education at Dalton State College. She brings experience in wound care, acute and chronic disease management, patient education and evidence-based treatment.

AdventHealth Medical Group Family and Internal Medicine at Curtis Parkway provides a variety of primary care services, including acute and chronic disease management, treatment for minor injuries, diabetes care, flu shots and immunizations, laboratory services, mental health care and preventive medicine.

The practice also offers routine health screenings, minor office procedures, school and sports physicals, personal illness visits, and weight treatment and management.

AdventHealth says Garcia’s addition to the Curtis Parkway team will help the practice continue meeting the primary care needs of patients throughout Gordon and Murray counties and the surrounding area.
