The Atlanta Braves will go for the sweep Sunday afternoon as they finish their three-game weekend series against the Colorado Rockies at Truist Park.
Atlanta has taken care of business through the first two games of the series, winning both contests to secure another series victory. The Braves enter Sunday with an 81-55 record and have continued to make Truist Park one of the toughest places for visiting teams to pick up a win. Atlanta is now 47-23 at home this season.
Colorado will try to turn things around in the series finale. The Rockies enter the afternoon at 52-84 overall and 25-46 away from home as they attempt to avoid leaving Atlanta on the wrong end of a three-game sweep.
With the series already secured, the Braves will look to keep their momentum going and complete a perfect weekend against Colorado. Another victory would also add to Atlanta’s impressive home record as the regular season heads toward September.
Sunday’s first pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. at Truist Park.
