The Gordon Central Warriors hit the road tonight as they travel to Homer to take on the Banks County Leopards in a non-region high school football matchup.
Gordon Central enters Friday night looking to break into the win column after starting the season 0-3. The Warriors will look to put together a strong road performance as they continue through the 2026 season.
Waiting for them will be a Banks County team that enters the matchup with a 2-2 record. The Leopards will have the home-field advantage as Gordon Central makes the trip to Homer.
While tonight’s contest will not count toward the region standings, it gives both teams another opportunity to build momentum as the season moves forward.
Kickoff between Gordon Central and Banks County is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tonight, Friday, September 18.
