The Atlanta Braves will try to break out the brooms Sunday as they face the Houston Astros in the final game of their three-game series.
The Braves have won the first two games in Houston, improving to 91-64. Atlanta won 6-2 Friday before rallying for a 6-3 victory Saturday, when Ronald Acuña Jr. connected for a grand slam that put the Braves ahead for good.
Atlanta has already clinched a postseason berth and enters Sunday’s game just one step away from securing the National League East. A Braves victory would clinch the division.
Martín Pérez is scheduled to get the start for Atlanta against Houston right-hander Hunter Brown.
The Braves and Astros get underway at 2:10 p.m., with airtime at 12:20 p.m. on Georgia 101.7 FM WJTH.
