Mrs. Warrine Elizabeth Hankins, age 92, of Dalton, Georgia departed this life Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Ridgewood Manor Health Care. She was born September 15, 1934 in Centre, Alabama, a daughter of the late Lou and Willie Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by her husband Reverend Jack Wayne Hankins, daughter Peggy Hicks brothers John, Doyle, and Gerdine Reynolds, sisters Viola and Eileen Reynolds.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sharon Hankins, Jeff Hankins; daughter, Angela Hankins; son-in-law, John Hick all of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Amanda Smith, Brandy McNeal, Ericka Townsend, Jackie Chasteen, Reed Hicks, Terry Hankins, Von Hankins; special niece, Sarah Gray; special great nieces, Kathy, Debbie and Karen of Tampa, FL; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Warrine Elizabeth Hankins will be held Sunday November 1, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Billy Willis officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
