The Calhoun Elks Lodge will host its annual 2026 Hoop Shoot competition on Sunday, Jan. 26, at the Ashworth Middle School Gym, located at 333 Newtown Road NE in Calhoun. The event is open to the public.
Competition times are scheduled by age group:

Ages 8–9: 2 p.m.

Ages 10–11: 3 p.m.

Ages 12–13: 4 p.m.
Contestant ages are determined as of April 1, 2026.
Community members are invited to attend and support local youth as they compete in this free-throw shooting contest.
