Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday in a big way at the Star-Spangled Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the Northwest Georgia Agricultural & Events Center, located at the Northwest Georgia Regional Fairgrounds, 1170 Liberty Road in Calhoun.

This family-friendly Independence Day event features free admission and an evening packed with live entertainment, food, family activities, and one of the area’s largest fireworks displays.

Gates open at 5 p.m., giving visitors plenty of time to enjoy food vendors, entertainment, and attractions before the evening’s festivities begin.

Live music will be provided by The Funky Little Band from Atlanta, Java Monkey, and Tommy Ray Gurley. Families can also enjoy the Magical Adventures Show featuring Mike Frisbee, along with appearances by acclaimed stilt walker Carrie McQueen.

The celebration will conclude with a huge fireworks show beginning at 9:30 p.m., lighting up the skies over Calhoun as the nation marks its historic 250th birthday.

Organizers invite residents from across Northwest Georgia to bring their families, friends, and lawn chairs for an evening of patriotic fun, community spirit, and unforgettable entertainment.
