
The Chief Vann House Historic Site will celebrate its 67th anniversary as a state historic site on Saturday, July 26, 2025, with a special event highlighting early 19th-century Cherokee and Moravian life.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of live demonstrations showcasing traditional skills and crafts, including hominy and corn grinding, woodworking, weaving, spinning, butter churning, leather britches, doll making, ancient tools, and black powder rifles. These hands-on activities offer a glimpse into daily life during the era and are included with admission.
Admission is $8 per person and is payable at the door. Please note that Georgia Historic Site Passes will not be accepted for this event.
All activities will take place outdoors and are weather permitting. There is no rain date scheduled.
