The Atlanta Braves have a chance to claim another series victory tonight as they welcome the New York Mets to Truist Park for the third and final game of their three-game set.
The series is tied at one game apiece after Atlanta bounced back Tuesday night with a 4-0 shutout. Martín Pérez worked six scoreless innings and extended his personal scoreless streak to 18 innings, while Ozzie Albies and Matt Olson both went deep for the Braves.
Atlanta comes into tonight’s matchup with a 72-48 overall record and a strong 40-21 mark at home. The Mets enter at 53-68 overall and 28-34 on the road.
Tyler Mahle gets the ball for Atlanta tonight and will make his first home start as a Brave. Mahle is coming off six scoreless innings and nine strikeouts in his first outing for Atlanta. New York is scheduled to send Zac Thornton to the mound.
