AdventHealth Gordon has earned accreditation as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery from Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), recognizing the hospital’s commitment to delivering high-quality, safe and patient-centered surgical care.
The prestigious designation is awarded to organizations that demonstrate excellence in robotic surgery through standardized processes, exceptional patient outcomes, ongoing quality improvement and a commitment to the highest standards of care. AdventHealth Gordon is one of only seven hospitals in Georgia to receive the SRC Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery accreditation.

To achieve accreditation, AdventHealth Gordon underwent a comprehensive evaluation of its robotic surgery program, including a review of clinical outcomes, patient safety measures, education and training programs, policies and procedures, and quality improvement initiatives. The assessment also included an on-site review of the hospital’s robotic surgery services.
Robotic-assisted surgery offers surgeons enhanced precision, flexibility and control during procedures while helping many patients experience less pain, smaller incisions, shorter hospital stays and faster recovery times.
SRC accreditation recognizes providers and health care organizations that consistently deliver safe, effective care and demonstrate a culture of continuous improvement. Accredited facilities must maintain rigorous standards and participate in ongoing evaluations to ensure excellence in patient care.
