The American Red Cross is urging community members to help keep the nation’s blood supply steady during the busy holiday season. Donating blood or platelets can make a critical difference for patients in need this winter.
To encourage donations, the Red Cross is offering special incentives. Those who give blood or platelets between December 8-18, 2025, will receive a $15 Amazon gift card by email. Donors who give from December 19, 2025, through January 4, 2026, will receive an exclusive Red Cross long-sleeved T-shirt, while supplies last.
