Calhoun City Schools Appoints Local Attorney Jeffrey Hood to Board of Education

The Calhoun City Schools Board of Education has named local attorney Jeffrey M. Hood to fill the vacant Post 4 seat on the Board. A long-time Calhoun resident, Hood brings both professional expertise and a strong personal commitment to the community and its students.

Hood expressed that his decision to join the Board is driven by his admiration for the dedication, care, and excellence that define the Calhoun City Schools system. A proud parent, he has seen the district’s quality of education firsthand. Hood and his wife, Heather, have three sons: Reece and Ryan, graduates of the Class of 2022, and Ryder, currently a junior at Calhoun High School.
