Calhoun City Schools system leaders came together Wednesday for a day of planning and collaboration focused on preparing for the months ahead and strengthening the district’s future.

During the meeting, System Leadership discussed upcoming transitions, future needs, and shared priorities, all with a continued emphasis on student success. District officials said every conversation and decision centered on their top priority — serving students and ensuring they have the support and resources needed to thrive.

“We’re grateful for the time, collaboration, and care that go into building a strong future for our schools and community,” school leaders shared following the meeting.

The district also expressed appreciation to Downtown Development Director Lacey Fuquea for welcoming the leadership team at The Depot, which served as the meeting location.

Calhoun City Schools officials say the planning session reflects the district’s ongoing commitment to thoughtful leadership, collaboration, and a student-first approach as they move forward.
