The Calhoun Fire Department has announced the promotions of two firefighters who will take on new leadership roles at Station 2.
Tavarious Kidd has been promoted to lieutenant of Ladder 21, serving on C-shift. Tyler Richardson has been promoted to engineer of Ladder 21, also serving at Station 2 on C-shift.
Department officials congratulated the two men, praising their dedication and hard work.
“These two dedicated men have worked hard to earn these spots and are going to be assets to their crew and to the public we proudly serve,” the department said.
Both firefighters were recognized alongside Calhoun Fire Chief Mike Schutz.
