It was a championship sweep for Calhoun High School tennis, as both the Yellow Jackets and Lady Jackets claimed the Region 7-AAA titles in dominant fashion.
The Calhoun boys tennis team secured its place in program history, defeating Heritage 3-0 to capture a third straight region championship, marking an impressive 3-peat for the Jackets.
Not to be outdone, the Lady Jackets matched that performance with a 3-0 victory over Heritage, completing a perfect outing of their own to bring home the girls’ region title.
With both teams crowned region champions, Calhoun tennis now turns its focus to the state playoffs, where the Jackets and Lady Jackets will look to carry their momentum onto a bigger stage.
