A special reception celebrating Denmon will be held Monday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 7 p.m., prior to the regular City Council meeting. During the reception, Denmon will be presented with an official proclamation recognizing Ray Denmon Day in Calhoun.

The public is invited to attend the reception and join city leaders in honoring Denmon for his contributions to the community.
