AdventHealth Gordon is inviting the community to take part in a special “Light the Hospital Pink” event on Tuesday, September 30, at 7 p.m. at the Edna Owens Breast Center. The gathering is part of AdventHealth’s annual Pink Porch Campaign, which highlights breast cancer awareness throughout the month of October.

The event will feature a prayer of dedication for the AdventHealth Gordon Cancer Care team and their patients, as hospital leaders and community members join together in the fight against breast cancer.

“In honor of breast cancer awareness, we are lighting the hospital pink,” said Emily Tarpley, manager of the Edna Owens Breast Center.

The Northwest Georgia Cancer Coalition is providing pink flashlights and glowsticks for participants, available while supplies last. Guests are encouraged to wear pink to show support.

The “Light the Hospital Pink” event is free and open to the public.
