The Calhoun Police Department is investigating a road rage incident that occurred around 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening, Nov. 20, near the Dairy Queen on Highway 53.
According to officials, a firearm was discharged during the encounter, and a bullet struck a vehicle involved in the incident. No injuries were reported.
K9 Doug was brought to the scene and successfully located two shell casings, which have been collected as evidence. Investigators say they have potentially identified the suspect’s vehicle after reviewing footage from a Flock camera positioned along Hwy. 53.
The case remains active, and CPD continues to follow leads.
