CALHOUN, GA – Gordon County residents are reminded that tomorrow, July 30, is the final day to appeal their property tax assessment values. Property owners who believe their assessed value is incorrect are encouraged to act promptly. Appeals must be submitted to the Gordon County Board of Assessors before the deadline.
For full instructions on how to file an appeal, visit the county’s official website at gordoncountyga.gov.
In addition, the Gordon County Board of Education (GCBE) will hold two public hearings tomorrow to discuss the proposed millage rate for the upcoming fiscal year. These hearings offer community members a chance to learn more about how local tax dollars will be allocated and to voice their opinions before the rate is finalized.
Details and hearing times can be found at gcbe.org.
