A husband and wife from Chatsworth are now behind bars, charged with the 2001 murder of a man whose body was found in a Wendy’s parking lot.
Authorities in Bartow County, Georgia, arrested 74-year-old Gary Fowler and 73-year-old Mary Fowler last Friday, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The case dates back to March 10th, 2001, when the body of Travis Silvers was discovered in his truck in the parking lot of a Wendy’s in Adairsville, Georgia.
While the GBI has not revealed if the Fowlers knew Silvers or the details of how they were connected to the crime, they are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist with the investigation.
