June 11, 2025 — Following the May 29th announcement of all start times for the first three weeks, ESPN has unveiled approximate start time windows for the complete 2025 Southeastern Conference (SEC) football schedule.
The full schedule was revealed during SEC Now: Inside the 2025 Schedule on SEC Network, where host Dari Nowkhah and analysts Roman Harper and Chris Doering provided an in-depth look at the upcoming college football campaign.
Notable matchups include a pair of high-stakes showdowns slated for Saturday, Sept. 27 (Week 5). At noon, Notre Dame will face Arkansas in Fayetteville on ABC, marking their first-ever meeting there. Later that evening, Alabama and Georgia will meet in Athens in a storied rivalry dubbed the 75th meeting “between the hedges” during ABC’s Saturday Night Football Presented by Capital One.
Starting Week 4 (Sept. 20), all SEC-controlled games will have designated television windows, including select “Flex” games that can shift between afternoon and night broadcasts. This scheduling approach is a benefit of the SEC’s rights agreement with ESPN, which began last fall.
The broadcast windows for Weeks 4 through 14 are:
Early: Noon to 1 p.m. ET
Afternoon: 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. ET
Night: 6 to 8 p.m. ET
Flex: Games that may shift between Afternoon and Night windows
Exact start times within these windows will be finalized no later than six days before each game, unless otherwise noted.
Fans can expect a more predictable viewing experience with the new time window structure, allowing for better planning throughout the college football season.
