UPDATE (5:40 P.M.): According to Calhoun Fire, the investigation into the Burger King fire is underway. The fire is extinguished. There was one patient that had smoke inhalation, but did not seek additional treatment other than being checked out by EMS. Brent Jones will be speaking with Calhoun Fire Chief Mike Schutz tomorrow on the 7 am news for an update.

The fire was reported at the standalone Burger King location at 905 South Wall Street, near W.C. Bryant Parkway.
