The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office has released details about a vehicle pursuit that ended Saturday night within the Calhoun city limits.
According to officials, the chase began on Belwood Road when deputies attempted to stop a driver wanted on local warrants. The suspect fled, leading officers onto I-75, then to State Route 53, and finally to South Wall Street.
A deputy executed a PIT maneuver on South Wall Street, bringing the pursuit to an end. The driver, a woman, attempted to escape on foot but was quickly apprehended.
Authorities confirmed there are no suspects at large and no injuries were reported.
