The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will temporarily close the right southbound lane and shoulder of I-75 between mileposts 287 and 286 on Wednesday, October 8, for planned maintenance work.
The closure will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting, as crews conduct necessary repairs to the shoulder in that area.
Motorists are advised to expect delays, reduce speed in the work zone, and stay alert for workers and equipment that may be close to or in the roadway.
GDOT urges drivers to exercise caution and plan alternate routes if possible during the scheduled maintenance window.
