Calhoun, GA – June 26, 2025 — Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) honored the achievements of its Adult Education students during a graduation ceremony held Thursday evening at the Conference Center on the college’s Gordon County Campus in Calhoun.

The Spring 2025 graduation recognized students who successfully earned their High School Equivalency (HSE) diplomas through GNTC’s Office of Adult Education. The event brought together graduates and their families from across GNTC’s nine-county service area, marking a significant milestone for those returning to education to achieve personal and professional goals.

Speakers at the ceremony highlighted the determination and perseverance of the graduates, many of whom balanced work, family, and other responsibilities while pursuing their diplomas. The HSE program offers adult learners the opportunity to earn credentials that open doors to higher education, better job prospects, and career advancement.

The graduation was part celebration, part inspiration, as faculty and staff encouraged the new graduates to continue their educational journeys, whether by entering the workforce or enrolling in one of GNTC’s many technical and academic programs.

GNTC’s Adult Education program provides instruction in foundational subjects, test preparation, and career guidance, serving adult learners in Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Polk, Walker, and Whitfield counties.
