CALHOUN — Good Samaritan Ministries of Gordon County recently hosted an open house to celebrate the opening of its new location at 200 Short Street in Calhoun.
The nonprofit organization, dedicated to assisting families in need, moved into the larger facility to better serve the growing number of residents seeking help. The new space provides easier access for the community and allows for more efficient operations.
Good Samaritan Ministries offers emergency financial aid for indigent families, including assistance with utilities, groceries, medical expenses, and clothing. By relocating, the organization is expanding its capacity to provide critical support and resources to Gordon County residents facing hardship.
During the open house, community members and supporters were able to tour the facility and learn more about the services offered. The event highlighted the organization’s ongoing commitment to helping families in crisis and strengthening the community as a whole.
