Gordon County Fire & Rescue responded to an early morning house fire in Fairmount on Sunday, Jan. 4.
According to officials, crews were dispatched around 2 a.m. to a reported structure fire at 166 Spring Street SE. When firefighters arrived, the home was fully involved, prompting crews to conduct defensive operations to bring the fire under control.
All occupants were safely out of the residence prior to firefighters’ arrival. The home was deemed a total loss. No injuries were reported.
