Following the latest round of severe weather and tornado activity, Gordon County officials have reported a significant increase in storm debris scattered throughout the region. The update was shared with Brent Jones of WJTH as part of the county’s ongoing response to storm impacts.

In light of the widespread debris, the county has reached out to its contracted storm debris removal company to obtain a cost estimate for cleanup. According to officials, this estimate is a key step in determining the most effective and efficient approach for clearing the damage.

The county emphasized that once cleanup logistics and costs are finalized, an official public update will be issued to keep residents informed of the next steps.
