Gordon County, GA – The Gordon County Schools Transportation Department has officially opened bus registration for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Parents and guardians are urged to complete the required transportation survey forms if their child falls into any of the following categories:

  • New students enrolling in Gordon County Schools for the first time

  • Students whose families have recently moved within the school district

  • Children enrolling in Pre-K for the 2025-2026 school year

This early registration process allows the district’s transportation team to plan safe and efficient bus routes ahead of the fall semester.

“We want to ensure every student who needs transportation has a seat and a smooth experience from the very first day,” said a district spokesperson. “Completing the proper survey now is a key step in helping us meet that goal.”

Families are reminded to carefully review and agree to the transportation policies outlined in the survey before submitting. There are two separate forms—one for Pre-K families and one for K–12 students:

The school district thanks families in advance for being proactive and helping prepare for a successful school year.
