Gordon County Schools Offering Winter Holiday Meal Boxes for Local Families

Gordon County Schools is helping ensure students stay nourished during the upcoming Winter Holidays and Christmas Break by providing Winter Holiday Meal Boxes for families across the community.

Each box contains 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches per child and is available to all children ages 0–18, as well as 0–21 for students with special needs. Families are encouraged to participate even if they did not pre-register. Please remember that each child may receive one meal box.

Pickup is scheduled for:

Friday, December 19
1:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Meal boxes can be picked up at the following locations:

  • Belwood Elementary — Student Drop-Off (Back of School)

  • Fairmount Elementary — Bus Loading Area (Near Cafeteria)

  • Gordon Central High School — Student Drop-Off (Front of School)

  • Red Bud Elementary — Bus Loop

  • Sonoraville High School — Bus Loop

  • Tolbert Elementary — Student Drop-Off (Front of School)

  • W.L. Swain Elementary — Bus Loop
