The Calhoun Police Department and the Gordon County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday that a Gordon County Grand Jury has returned a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) indictment against seven individuals accused of operating a criminal enterprise in Calhoun and the greater Northwest Georgia area.

According to the indictment, the defendants are alleged to have engaged in a pattern of racketeering activity between February 2024 and February 2025. Prosecutors say the group trafficked multiple kilograms of methamphetamine, carried out sales of the drug, and used communication facilities to coordinate and facilitate transactions. Officials say the enterprise posed a significant threat to public safety and disrupted neighborhoods throughout the region.

The following individuals were charged under the RICO statute:

  • Julius “Pops” Boswell

  • Jerome Boswell

  • Kenna Greene

  • Randy Myers

  • Kim Harbour

  • Randy “Buck” Gilbert

  • David Deaton

Two additional individuals, Jill Underwood and Anette Pittman, were also named in connection with the case.

Law enforcement officials emphasized that the charges reflect an ongoing effort to dismantle organized drug operations in Gordon County. “This indictment sends a strong message that coordinated criminal activity which endangers our community will not be tolerated,” prosecutors said in a statement.

The case remains under investigation, and authorities have not yet released details regarding court appearances or potential sentencing.
