Happening This Weekend: Annual Dixie Highway Yard Sale Kicks Off!
One of Northwest Georgia’s most anticipated events returns this weekend—the Annual Dixie Highway Yard Sale is officially underway! Stretching nearly 90 miles, this massive, multi-county sale runs Friday, June 6 through Sunday, June 8 along the historic Old Dixie Highway.
Shoppers can explore hundreds of yard sales from Ringgold to Marietta, passing through communities like Tunnel Hill, Rocky Face, Dalton, Resaca, Calhoun, Adairsville, Cassville, Cartersville, Emerson, Acworth, and Kennesaw. Residents and vendors will be lined up along Highway 41, offering everything from clothing and collectibles to tools, toys, furniture, antiques, and more.
Drivers are urged to use extra caution as traffic will be heavy and slow-moving throughout the weekend. Many vehicles will be stopping frequently along the highway, and pedestrians will be present in high numbers along the route.
